WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit begins with a belief in fitness. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness. CrossFit strives to build a program that will best prepare trainees for any physical contingency — not only for the unknown, but for the unknowable. After looking at all sport and physical tasks collectively, CrossFit posed the question of what physical skills and adaptations would most universally lend themselves to performance advantage. Capacity culled from the intersection of all sports demands would quite logically lend itself well to all sport. In sum, CrossFit’s specialty is not specializing.

In its most absolute sense, CrossFit is defined as constantly varied functional movements executed at a high intensity. It encompasses the following ten fitness domains: cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. CrossFit lays the framework for achieving comprehensive physical fitness and is designed to be broad, general, and inclusive. The CrossFit model is intended to be scalable, and therefore suitable for individuals in any age range or level of fitness. Its purpose is to challenge individuals both mentally and physically, and to help them reach unimaginable goals, both in and out of the box.

Prepare yourself for the unknown and unknowable by taking our awesome group classes with our expert coaching staff. These hour long classes will help you improve your strength and conditioning in a fun and competitive setting.

Specialized training for individual athletes. These one-on-one sessions can be designed to help you meet any specific fitness goal that you have.

WEIGHTLIFTING

Weightlifting is the combination of incredible strength and skill. Learn how to maximize your potential in both of the Olympic lifts under the guidance of our world renowned coach.

NUTRITION

Learn how to properly fuel your body so that you can attain your desired athletic and aesthetic goals. We can assist with both forming a diet plan and sticking with it.

COMPETITION TRAINING

Interested in competing in a local CrossFit competition? We can help you prepare so that you are ready to make the podium on game day.

MOBILITY

Working out hard day in and day out can take a toll on your body. Let us help you perform preventative maintenance so that you can work out the kinks, improve range of motion and avoid injury.

All of our coaches are highly trained and credentialed in CrossFit and take instruction very seriously. They are educated both in the CrossFit modality and outside of it. They study health, nutrition, mobility, leadership, wellness, recovery, rehabilitation, and the like with the same enthusiasm that they bring to their current level of physical training. Our coaches are as much a part of the lives of the people in our community as the athletes are in theirs. They are prepared to share meals, hugs, tears, triumphs, and failures alike. Our coaching staff is standing by to help you set goals and to motivate and show you ways to surpass them. We succeed when you succeed.
